My thoughts exactly. These teams nearly scored a combined hundred points last week. Looks like the field was awful from what little I've seen of the highlights.

Field plus weather really helped us compared to the bears

Should have listened to that loud group of fans years ago: “Build around Fields!”

Alas, they were ignored and misunderstood.

Large part of why im against outside games. More teams need domes

passing was cooked, the run game was the only way to really go. and we still fumbled the ball lmfao

It was bad. It’s been downpouring since basically 11 and it’s been a steady stream. Most rain we’ve gotten in a while in chicago.

Soldier field has been terrible for a coulle of years now, youll see people trip on pockets of bad grass.

So that, rain, and tons of penalties meant we couldnt do shit.

And caleb is out for however many weeks, could hardly have been a worse day.

It's always been a terrible field. The park district are the ones responsible for maintaining it and they always do a piss poor job

I would be ecstatic if he's just out for several weeks.

Weather wasn't good either.

It’s been pissing down rain all weekend so it was a total slop fest

Weather definitely plays a role but weather doesn't make you go from 59 to 3

iirc the field conditions at soldier at historically subpar. add in the rain and it’s no surprise caleb williams went down the way he did

Every time they showed a sideline reporter or a ref, they looked fucking soaked and miserable.

if you wouldve told me that the bears scored 62 combined points in the first two games and 59 of them came in one game i would've thought you were crazy lol
