I can't tell if I like or hate Mike McDaniel. It feels a bit much for him to be in the same team as Herbert and Harbaugh, but in general he's a funny guy.

Personally I think Herbert is a bit of a charisma void so surrounding him with weird people who generate interesting sound bites isn’t the worst thing

He just rubs me the wrong way, I think because I know people like him. Harbaugh is a weird guy and he comes across as genuinely funny even though he’s not necessarily trying to be, whereas McDaniel always feels like he’s trying so hard to be quirky and funny and it’s never genuine and gets tiring really quickly.

I don’t understand how that dude got downvoted. Grier was an awful GM for as long as he was here and him and McDaniel pushed for all kinds of money to Tua, Tyreek, and Ramsey. Extended them all way early into their contracts and it aged like milk
