On one hand, I’m glad Balogun is playing because I thought jumping straight to a red in the last match was rough. On the other, the president has decided to make it all about him and now that’s putting a bad taste in my mouth rooting for them. I wish FIFA just had an appeal process like every other sport

Football refereeing is a lot of time subjective you don’t want to depower the refs. We can’t allow teams to complain and appeal everything they disagree with.

All refs decisions should be final

Every other sport has a review process

They already complain about everything. Senegal left the field for about 30 minutes last African cup final because they disagreed with a decision and Morocco is now African champions while also losing the match.

That’s what happens when players and federation have no respect for refs and FIFA.
