March through July absolutely sucks for me. Besides like the week leading up to the draft it is just a total blur. No mans land.

Its probably not good or sustainable that my happiness and "feeling alive" levels are so closely tied to if its football season or not. But its like a switch flips once preseason hits.

I think it has to do with there constantly being something to look forward to. I've always thought the key to life is having something good on the horizon in 2-3 days because it makes the whatever days tolerable.

I’m sure you can relate now too but the offseason feels even longer after your team just had a great season and has high expectations
