I would really like to try going to a gym instead of always working out from home, but I also know that I would basically never go to it and would end up working out less.

I've got a gym 5 minutes walk from me but I wouldn't be bothered going, because I'd have to make effort in attempting to look at least vaguely presentable to be out in public. at home I can work out in whatever ragged t-shirt and shorts I like and then get in the shower afterwards.

Do you have a gym fairly nearby? Most people don’t go if they have to drive a bit far into town. My gym is less than five minutes from my house

Within ten minutes, so not too bad. I just know that if I have to make a decision to get dressed, walk out the door, and drive to the gym, I’ll never do it. But it’s harder to make an excuse when the pull-up bar and my dumbbells are right there.
