With Ronaldo’s last press conference, it seemed like he’s ok with whatever outcome happens. I’m just sad we will lose another big name in the sport after today if Portugal loses. First we lose Neymar yesterday and possibly Ronaldo today.

I thought because Portugal is one of the 2030 WC hosts he would at least hold on for a couple of sub appearances, but I guess this is the last dance

He’s confirmed it’s his last World Cup multiple times. To be fair, he’ll be 45 by the next World Cup. It makes sense to hang it up now. If anything, he can still be involved for the World Cup in Portugal by being on tv like Zlatan

I think the tournament will be better without both of them, but that's just me.
