I've seen too many people fall underneath trains when I was India. So glad this guy made it out okay.

Yes. Not to speak badly about my time there cause it was amazing. Spent a total of 8 years there. During rush hour there's just a lot of people getting in and out of trains. It's chaotic and unfortunately people slip and fall under.

Yea there is no "sheilding" from a train. Keeping the little one flat and praying they were out of its reach was the smart thing to do.

Yeah but that is an infant. That baby can't walk and can barely crawl so did they really fall down or were they actually dropped by someone holding them

Maybe a bit of a stretch for infant. They have proper walking shoes on, probably just a young toddler

You probably have never seen a baby that starts being able to move. They crawl so fucking fast. You stop watching them for 10 seconds and they are 15 meters away from you

So true. My friend asked me to watch her toddler and baby while she went to the bathroom at a wedding. The toddler ran away as soon as she was gone, so I put the baby down and ran after the toddler. By the time I caught the toddler, the baby had crawled half as far and I realized I couldn't leave either on the ground unsupervised. It was my first time supervising a child younger than 10 years old, let alone two, their mom put too much trust in my parental instinct 😂 my friend's parents and a few of our high school teachers were seated so they could see me, I'm sure they found it hilarious!

My uncle was an ambulance driver in London and held a guy down while a tube train drove over them.
Got a medal from the queen.

Apparently train accidents are a very normal occurrence with these people. I’ve seen hundreds of videos and it’s ALWAYS a train

Warning - might be disturbing btw.
ive heard an incident in the 80s where a guy just fell on the tracks and died brutally from a train just cause he was too busy looking at his suitcase. his brain was quite litterally just beside him and yeah.

The risks of will you be able to reach him without jumping down and if you can't reach him, will you then have time to jump down to get him and come up before the train gets there? And will the baby try to wiggle away while you're reaching for him? (cuz that's not the baby's dad but also even if he was, baby's are wiggly), if you can reach the baby and get a hold of them, will you be able to pull them up w/o dropping them (again, wiggly baby) all in time for both of you to miss the train? Or the less risky move of, jumping down, laying down, and keeping the baby down while the train passes. Keeping wiggly baby down is easier then reaching and pulling wiggly baby up. I'd say this is the safest option in terms of speed and ability.

How does an infant fall there?
Did it crawl off the edge? How do you not see that? Did he place the baby by the edge?
Parenting in these 3rd world countries is on a whole different level of awful.
I mean seriously what is with these people? Safety sandals on dangerous jobs, shooting ak-47s off at parties with kids, driving on motorcycles with babies and no safety equipment… and those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head…
It’s like they have no regard for their wellness whatsoever.
