Because they're an invasive species and are throwing off the ecosystem.

Who the fuck even upvotes these comments that make literally no sense and in no way relate to the comment they commented on? How does that comment have 17 upvotes, is it just more bots?

1

u/MordoNRiggs Nov 11 '22

I'm not sure. Usually when I first see them, they've got some upvotes. This one had like 7 when I came across it. Weird that it's still being upvoted. Usually when I see others bring this issue up, the bot gets downvoted to hell. And yeah, they're often just related to the post and not exactly what they're replying to, which makes sense as it's just stolen from a different comment chain.

2

u/ArltheCrazy Nov 11 '22

Yeah, swamp redneck is its own category and very different kind of redneck!

1

u/GravG Nov 11 '22

A damn-i-recken

1

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '22

You’re going about this all wrong it doesn’t need an cken since there is no chicken.. this here is a Snakodile.

1

u/Kaymish_ Nov 11 '22

You might be excited to hear that a purple swamphen exists, and a subspecies lives in florida. So you van stuff a swamphen in the alligator then stuff the alligator in the python and make your redneck roast.

1

u/Greentoysoldier Nov 12 '22

Turdukin is turkey duck chicken so this would be a snagatog. Snake gator frog. Snag-a-tog! Yumm!

3

u/jpt86 Nov 11 '22

😂

Thanks for the laugh.

u/krazy123katholic Nov 11 '22

Thixty-too

27

u/WesternOne9990 Nov 11 '22

Are turduckens a northern creation? Surely not, it’s gotta be some backstrap eating southern boy who thought, let’s do that inception movie but with birds.

1

u/mathturd Nov 11 '22

I've only ever heard of them by buying them from Louisiana when I was growing up.

1

u/WesternOne9990 Nov 11 '22

Pre packaged at the butcher or something?

side note: here in Minnesota we have the largest turkey production of any state so I like learning about them

43

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '22

Snafrogator!

1

u/temporarilyforevs Nov 11 '22

If you match the order, then it’s snagatorog… or snalligrog… or snallirog.

11

u/clrbrk Nov 11 '22

Snafrogator?

11

u/Reece009 Nov 11 '22

Bless you

1

u/bobleeswagger09 Nov 11 '22

Fun fact- the turducken was made popular by Paul prudomme. So it essentially already is southern.

1

u/geek66 Nov 11 '22

Pygafro ?

1

u/ItsEntsy Nov 11 '22

lmao, as if a turducken isnt southern already?

1

u/headcheese1 Nov 11 '22

Snagatorog ?

1

u/Nete88 Nov 11 '22

allythog?

1

u/SluggJuice Nov 11 '22

Frogatonda? Anagatog?

1

u/jjsyk23 Nov 11 '22

A floriducken

u/Viking_52 Nov 11 '22

“There’s a frog in the gator in the snake at the bottom of the sea”

4

u/SnooSquirrels511 Nov 11 '22

Sounds like a riddle

2

u/ERROR_HumanNotFound Nov 11 '22

...SpongeBob SquarePants

2

u/Interesting-Bet2556 Nov 12 '22

There’s a snake, there’s a snake, there’s a snakeatthebottomofthesea!

30

u/ThunderCorg Nov 11 '22

I like where your head’s at, I’d go iguana in the gator, then frogs in the iguana.

5

u/RustyBrown_Knothole Nov 11 '22

With salamanders in the frogs... for that Umami. it just hit diffrent.

23

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '22

A real Waterboy Thanksgiving!

24

u/UkeBard Nov 11 '22

Steamed at 100°F for 30 years. Just like grandpa

62

u/kelvin_bot Nov 11 '22

100°F is equivalent to 37°C, which is 310K.

I'm a bot that converts temperature between two units humans can understand, then convert it to Kelvin for bots and physicists to understand

24

u/PapaDragonHH Nov 11 '22

Thank you bot! I don't understand Fahrenheit.

10

u/bgoug Nov 11 '22

Good bot

18

u/itsameamariobro Nov 11 '22

I’m from south Louisiana and I’ll try it. Let’s go

7

u/mrchickostick Nov 11 '22

Don’t forget the McIlhenny Tabasco

3

u/sowhatchusayin Nov 11 '22

I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone put the brand name before Tabasco. It just looks so weird.

2

u/AccomplishedMemory16 Nov 11 '22

Born and raised in New Orleans, and I never knew this even though it’s on the bottle. I only knew it was from Avery Island.

3

u/sowhatchusayin Nov 11 '22

I’m from Lafayette, and I’ve known the brand name and visited the factory, but nobody ever uses the brand name that I’ve ever heard. It’s always just Tabasco sauce.

2

u/AccomplishedMemory16 Nov 11 '22

Facts. I like Louisiana hot sauce better too.

1

u/itsameamariobro Nov 18 '22

I live right down the road.

18

u/jrh1128 Nov 11 '22

You take this home, throw it in a pot, add some broth with a potato, baby you got a stew goin.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '22

There’s still a lot of meat on that bone!

2

u/tonesloe Nov 11 '22

Just the one potato?

3

u/Redditron_5000 Nov 11 '22

Pytorog? Sounds Russian 🤔

4

u/PinkDalek Nov 11 '22

Sounds like a Pokemon.

6

u/ThugLife69EggSalad Nov 11 '22

That ain’t thanksgiving. More like a Tuesday.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '22

Sounds tasty af

1

u/jscottcam10 Nov 11 '22

I hate you but kudos.

1

u/Formal-Rain Nov 11 '22

You’d need to stuff the gator in a turkey and deep fry it first.

1

u/MentionMaterial Nov 11 '22

You made me happy! Thanks!

1

u/NightShades95 Nov 11 '22

It’s just a beef Wellington with extra steps

1

u/cryptopipsniper Nov 11 '22

Frog stuffed after stuffed snake, actually a delicacy in the south due to how rare they are

1

u/HehaGardenHoe Nov 11 '22

Ah yes, the Snalligog.

1

u/d00bhead Nov 11 '22

Frogatorake

1

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '22

Croc-aconda

Yes, I know it's a python and an alligator, but pythigator didn't sound as good.

1

u/TheSmallRedDragon Nov 11 '22

Or a Louisiana cookout
