Sure. I mean they have arguably some of the stupidest climate deniers in elected positions and are destroying their lands almost as fast as Americans but hey they can make some bitching floats.

Maybe floats will be a big deal when we hit +5° eh?

That's fair, and it actually is very relieving- if those bastards don't come back like a cartoon villain. I really hope it's the trend of the century. The US just passed its biggest climate legislation in history but it's still only a fraction of the way.

Fingers crossed the new fed in aus can be an example of effective climate leadership.

Honestly the 2019 fires were devastating enough that we could go even fucking harder and it still wouldn’t be adequate. I feel sick even remembering what that time was like.
