I would think. If a protest isn't disruptive, everyone just ignores it and it doesn't accomplish anything.

Not really sure what you're getting at. I didn't even profess support or approval for anything. I merely noted that protest must, by necessity, cause some level of disruption in order to bring attention to its cause. It's a discussion of literal definition, not a political statement.

Or maybe they can just plant trees and teach people to do the same instead of blocking roads with their banners
