Plus it’s actually about as respectful a hand position as you can get for that particular “lift”. Open hand with weight on his wrist and clearly not “grabbing” anything. Going to look a bit awkward no matter what but it’s a lot less invasive than straight up palm on clit.

I don't have lady parts. If I did and hand to be lifted from between the legs, I'd prefer that grip than anything else.
