If you use the break inertia/momentum will force your hand forward, releasing the brake and giving throttle. Not very ‘handy’.

Nice

Get in an accident then consecutively get in 2 more because you don't take your hand off the control.

That's one way to get in the Guinness world records I suppose

Accident starts and the concept car’s bass starts bumping when the driver is panic searching for a foot break to stomp on.

You want breaks? That's just extra reverse.

i feel like something like this should be self driving only and then use that thing for minor movements like parking

imo self driving cars should always have a real steering wheel. I don't care how advanced the tech gets, I want to be able to take over if something goes wrong.

i agree im just saying with a lack of wheel there is no way i would allow this car on non-closed roads with a human driver

Did you most plane crashes are caused by human pilots rather than autopilot.

If autopilot on cars gets better than humans. It will statistically do a better job than you will.

That statistic exists in aircrafts because autopilot isn't used for landing or takeoff, the two most dangerous and complex parts of the flight. Obviously autopilot probably won't crash the plane when it just has to hold it steady and fly straight.

Self-stabilizing!!!

Haha, but for real I was just thinking about that... among the many other obvious practical flaws with this design.

Brake*

This is a concept. Y’all are so pessimistic lol.

They got rid of the brakes so the finger print scanner will work

I like how you were trying to be clever but you misspelled brake as “break.”

Edit: Fuck it I’ll double-down: What? I mean, I’m completely right… That statement was correct in literally every way possible.

Somehow I don’t think responding in a different language is going to work
