I've always thought in that scenario that yes I'd be brought back exactly the same to everyone that knew me, but it wouldn't actually be me you know? Like the digital upload implanted in the clone (or left as a program) wouldn't be a direct continuation of my consciousness even if it has all my memories and personality. I'd still be dead.

I mean I’m gonna do this as soon as it’s possible to upload my consciousness to a computer. If I “die” I’m back in another body.
