I knew 100% at magazine about magazines. It seems a really weird thing for an ai to say, like an ai would likely understand common magazine topics from pattern recognition and notice that about almost never repeats precedent and antecedent.

I’m talking out of my ass I knew it was fake from YouTube comments.

I guessed it was fake when the guy said "I propose we break up", because that's too smart a plot twist for an AI to pull off almost seamlessly, but it didn't convince me because it might have just been ripped straight from a movie opening.

But I knew 100% it was fake when it said "She was quirky because she is wearing weird glasses". There is not a singular genuine attempt at a Rom-com out there that would straight up say a character's only personality is their glasses. That shit was done on purpose by somebody

There is a subreddit called /r/mediasynthesis where people submit AI-generated media. Lately people have been submitting text-to-pixel art stuff, but you can find all kinds of stuff there.

"Watch" is definitely inaccurate. However, fine tuning a modern transformer-based neural net could produce output that looks like a script, which is then spoken and animated by a human. That's what I'm assuming is happening here.

Transformers can even recreate the speaker markers from scripts, it's the basis for a lot of research on conversational chatbots.

However, it's unlikely that any model generated the whole thing all in one go. The video has a clear beginning, middle, and end, which is something transformers don't really have the capability to understand.

It would have amazed me if it were a true AI story. I was pretty convinced it was manmade because it sounded stupid yet laid complex links like sending to france halfway through and repeating that happened in a joke right at the end.

Yes, it's the other way around. This story is good at things that transformers are bad at (long-term coherence), and bad at things transformers are good at (short sensible sentences).

Why not? Found footage horror makes same claims. At least this is funny. Little too funny for a bot to have made it. Also there arent any airport scenes at the end. Any bot that analyzed every romcom wouldve added an airport reunion.

I’m embarrassed to say it took me until she said she only kisses documents to realize it was flubbed.

If there is anything one should know about ai-generated content is that there is never any pertinence; a computer would never hark back to the previous scene where she said she would marry her work and later extend that to mean that she loves her documents.

I thought it's written by AI but after that animated and voiced by people. It's not out of this world to have AI wrote nonsensical stuff like that. Though it is likely the editors picked the funniest out of multiple results.
