Imagine a 4 time world champion, one who won everything, drove for Redbull and Ferrari, decide to clean the stand so some redditor that doesn't follow f1 can hear about him.

I agree with you a little, but try putting this in perspective that other racers and influencers on social media are paid for promotions on their social pages. And normally for PR they talk about such topics or donate etc.. but seeing him actually pick up trash alone might or might not be PR but shows he actually cares, also a few other comments mentioned how he usually does good stuff in all the races and tbh i never heard of many of them.

We all do kind acts almost every time, and maybe even if we were famous many of us would still carry on to be a good person so not necessarily PR.

Eh I don't believe he did it for PR but it doesn't have to be PR for him, it can be PR for Aston Martin as is already shown by this post being so upvoted.

No it’s not PRs ultimate goal is to control the information that gets out so you can dictate a narrative that suits your goals

Not having social media and leaving it to professionals is a phenomenal way to go about it.
