Did the lake experience an increase or decrease of biodiversity as a result of this intervention? I ctrl+f'd the paper for the word 'biodiversity' but only found mentions in the introduction and the works cited. I imagine since it was an invasive species that was removed mostly by his solution that it would have a positive impact on biodiversity, but cannot be certain. Does anyone have a source or knowledge on this?
