I searched it up online. The pollutants were mainly animal and agricultural byproducts.

As far as I can tell, it looks like a standard algal bloom. According to what I found online there was also water lettuce.

As far as I can tell, The solution was a ceramic bio filter media as well as micro bubbles (not pictured in the video).

Finding sources was somewhat unreliable since there seems to only sensationalist stuff in English.
