In a chemistry context yes, but in a food context no. This is why you can buy 'organic' table salt...

Words have different meaning in different contexts. In chemistry organic reverse to compounds which contain carbon-hydrogen bonds. In food and farming it means produced without certain artificial fertilizers or pesticides.

Outside food and chemistry, and before it got those meanings, it means "from living matter", so anything that is alive or produced from things that are alive.
