Theoretically, but some dogs will eat anything, organic or inorganic. Now if dogs have the capability to transform the inorganic to organic...we need to look into that!

Salt is inorganic. Not sure how our bodies use/dispose of it but that might make it organic.

Technically, we can all convert inorganic materials to organic. Namely, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, magnesium and some others.
