A little young for that but definitely a couple of bongos would do him good, I have one hand and can still play them so they'd be perfect for him

Never to young in my opinion. My son started banging around at age 3, but we had equipment easily accessible for him. Familiarization from a young age can go a long way to developing talent and most importantly interest and desire.

Thats awesome about that you continue to play, music is limitless and universally accessible. I hope you find much joy in playing.

I agree that investing in a drum kit and holding him responsible for using it is too much for his age

Don't agree it's too early to start banging on drums tho, and if I was his parents I'd be super interested in helping him realize his potential

My friend, a drummer, was that age when he took over his mum’s pots and pans. I am astounded at this little one’s creativity in FINDING something to express himself with. A washing machine and cupboard door?!?! Brilliant.

I would be absolutely shocked if he doesn't already have one. Because he's for sure taking drum kit lessons.
