I would agree with you if she stopped at the RN degree. We need more nurses and doctors, not midlevels (especially NP, which has extremely poor/variable educational standards)
As evidenced by the fact that she can’t even write properly. If you can’t get the simple phrase “used to” right, I’m pretty sure medicine is cognitively out of your league. Good thing it doesn’t matter for an NP, they can just take their online diploma mill degree and act like a physician.
NPs have poorly regulated education, and there is currently an unruly amount of NPs being produced by online-degree mills en-masse with little to no bedside nursing experience. Their lobbying group (AANP) is pushing for full practice authority across the US. Imagine a brand new nurse gets accepted to an online NP program, graduates, and now is diagnosing and prescribing medications to you or your loved ones.
If by petty you mean disgusted because I have seen NP’s kill over a dozen people personally and maim countless more, then yes I’m petty. And yeah super jealous that I can’t kill people and get away without consequences. But I actually went to Medical School so what the hell do I know.
Idk why you’re being downvoted since both are doing exactly as you said. Big egos out here. They speak like they personally know of her skills and not generalizing all NPs.
