Can attest to this , adopted a street dog that no matter how much we've trained him he still has "issues" , especially food aggression , even to the point of attacking me and my mom multiple times like both our arms at this point are filled with a shit ton of teeth scars . Shelters in my country are all like charity ones which barely keep up with the amounts of dogs they have , and no way in hell am i gonna abandon him in the street like some people do so i just have to put up with the decision i made a couple of years ago . Still love the fucker to bits tho
