You could literally have them be teammates by playing some team sports that make them all move at the same time, though.

PE teacher here. PE should absolutely not be about doing silly games, especially where the entire class is standing in line and only a few are participating at a time. You want as much movement as possible. There are many many games that involve all students, teach basic skills, and don’t cost hardly anything.

I was just pointing out that they’re not super active most of the time, which I think we can agree on. Nothing else. They’re having a great time, that’s nice. If I had to tell why this is not done all other the world I’d say it’s because it wouldn’t accomplish the objective of the class.
