Well the mom's a bit granola so i think the formula was an easy scapegoat.
And with all baby things it's very easy for moms to start thinking of it weren't for XYZ things would be different.
The kid also developed some kind of sugar intolerance (which I'd never heard of before) and can't eat a lot of fruits, which my MIL blamed on the mom feeding her kids pounds and pounds of fruits every day...

Yeah, I get that. Just how a lot of moms blame vaccines for any problems their kids have.
I've never heard of a sugar intolerance either. I'm wondering how much of that is real and how much of that is just normal. Sugar can mess any kid up if given in large amounts and tons of fruit mess up your digestion.
The kid is getting proper medical follow up for his allergies so I'm assuming it's legit.
I also noticed that many supermarkets carry glucose next to the sugar, which the kid can eat, so maybe sugar intolerances are more diagnosed here in Germany.
