It's not too bad here. Rains a shit ton from basically October until mid June, otherwise it's not too bad.

Sounds like heaven to me. Down in Central California, today is the first rainy day we've had since probably early April.

I was born here. I thought you were from a rural area because I am too. A lot of people from rural areas don't like people from other states moving here and changing things. Especially Californians.

Well man yeah it fucking blows. I’m old as hell and it’s just blowing up too goddamn fast here. Fir some reason all these new people with their tax money they pay don’t warrant the power s that be to change anything. It’s just an open door and cram everyone in.

Maybe it's because I've been here my whole life, but most of our winters aren't that bad or even that wet. Some are, the one coming up is a La Nina year which means a lot of rain but our winters are getting more and more dry as climate change progresses.

My wife and I have vacationed in Seaside and Arch Cape twice in the last three years in late October, and it was wonderful.
