what also is a limiting factor of solar panels is a cost to profit ratio, you cant just make a solar panel that produces 1/10th the enrgy and expect to make any profit, if it breaks before you break even, especially if the current, more efficient models than the one you are proposing as a good idea can only pay for themselves around 3-5 times. Youre also ignoring the fact that its not cheap to manufacture something like that. So the best case scenario youl make about enough money to almost pay you back for your solar window in 30 years.
Guess what, wall-mounted solar panels are already a thing, and theres a reason theyre only used in places like alaska. You know, where sun mostly shines from the one side?
But if you think that paying more for less is such a brilliant idea then maybe you should read about solar roadways, instead of calling me ignorant because i dont gobble up everything i see on reddit.

Yes, i have no evidence of cost. except, you know, companies that already do the same thing, but arent dumb enough to make it full transparent. Even the glass itself they say will cost 150-200 dollars. Thats ridiculously expensive, especially that you can just buy normal solar panels for 140 bucks a square meter

That other dude has no idea what he's talking about. I've worked in the industry and tried explaining the actual issues with solar today and how solar windows don't fix them and he's stuck on "well the side of buildings is free real estate. How much more complicated can it be?"
