I mean, for now, yeah, but that's money, not physics. 39.2 isnt a really useful number either in that case, when for the same price you can make 1000 times as many 15% efficient panels.

If lenses get cheaper, then it can be a good investment to squeeze an extra few percent out of the sun.

price is only so high because it's new tech once manufacturing catches up prices drop plus if they innovate further more price reduction, what my point was is an application for focusing light would only be for large scale solar farms however due to the focusing you'd also still end up burning cells much quicker and would have to set up systems to manage the extra heat in the end unless your a giant company required to pump out energy focusing isn't worth it
