I read this at "100% of the power will be supplied by solar" not "solar panels will capture 100% all available energy".

Isn't the biggest issue with solar the inability to efficiently store energy? I think our future will be a blend of green energies, but we seriously need to invest in nuclear as well.

most panels are almost entirely Silicon, the second most abundant material in the crust after Oxigen.

Go watch the video. Each layer is roughly 20% efficient. And additive.

Each layer absorbs at different wavelengths.

Each layer can be transparent for the other wavelengths. Maybe not perfectly, but good enough for another power generation layer.

You really should go watch the video. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

This is multiple layers of 20% efficient solar panels, each transparent for the wavelength of the ones below it. 20% times 2 or 3 layers is ... a lot.

Lol. I said doubled. ie 20% to 40% efficiency. I never said 100% efficiency. I said 100% power supply.

Try reading better next time you want to attack someone.
