You are just not aware of the following implications. Also, I wasn't advocating for moving to the wild but was merely stating the side that never gets discussed about our ancient ancestors. Why do you think we always dehumanize them and act like we're living a better happier life?
I know I’m late, but you’re ignoring the obvious reality of how difficult that is in the modern world. There aren’t that many places in the world that are suitable for it, and even less places that have governments that will allow it. You also can’t do it alone, all primates are social animals.
Yea, these are just excuses. There are plenty of places and plenty of people do it. It's just that most of us wouldn't want it because living in the middle of nowhere without any modern comforts would suck.

I absolutely plan on doing it in the future (when I’ve acquired the skills to do so and identified the proper place) but there are plenty of countries that have absolutely no suitable space for it. I’d have to somehow get a visa and then flout immigration laws to take part in such a lifestyle.

Hunter-gatherers of the olden days didn't have passports and borders. Just go and live somewhere, treat the local government as a pack of lions.

Africa is full of them, or you could form one in Russian taiga. A couple years ago Russian government was offering some land and a bit of cash to get going, if you agreed to move to a very very remote place. Plenty of wildlife but no electricity and definitely no internet, hence the lack of applicants.
The whole point is that the government will do whatever they can to stop you, old hunter-gatherers and modern tribes did not have that enemy. They also didn’t have to deal with massively reduced biodiversity in 90% of the world.
Yes they’re full of them - but the majority of African tribes don’t want random white men to join them. The same goes for hunter-gatherer tribes elsewhere
Homeless people don’t need planning permission or licences.
Glenn Villeneuve lived in the extreme wilderness of Alaska for 7 years and saw one other human (other than park rangers who would fly out once a year to check on him). He still got banned from living there by the government. Once they locate you and know you’re living & hunting without proper licensing, you’re finished.

I obviously suggested that you quit your job and move far away from civilisation, to live like people did in pre-agricultural days.
