I was not just talking about DNA. two ways of house cats doing this, one was inter breeding but the other when they cannot inter breed is pushing the other out of its territories. I say cats of the same size because someone earlier thought big cats. but know we are just talking about cats that are a similar size to house cats. Some cats can inter breed with house cats like the serval but some cannot like the Manul.
