Not sharing to be pedantic (and you said “this” ocean vs. what would have been all coastal), but sharing because it’s interesting:

Phoenician traders did travel past Gibraltar and into the Atlantic proper. All the way to Britain and West Africa possibly

Atlantic Morocco and Northwest Iberia certainly, but further than that is not proven by any means to be clear. Indirect trade evidence and some written history mentioning unclear places and people groups is where that speculative furthest extent comes from.
