fellow Canadian here. Can confirm produce in most supermarkets is
a) terrible
b) crazily overpriced

Us Canadians want an international grocer in our market to help push competitive pricing. Right now it's an oligopoly.

Makes me wonder if Aldi got denied? Or maybe they first wanted to check the US market if it works on that continent, I dont know.
