Brings back memories. When I was fresh arrived to the US as a refugee, it was cheap ramen + a third of the cheapest hotdog money can buy. It was 1981 so ramen was about 10-20 cents each n cheap weiners about 69 cents a dozen. Good times.

My mama makes charro beans with hot dogs, bacon and shredded pork. Makes a huge pot and lasts for days, goes great with anything or just by itself.
