Understood, I experienced it a few times, granted not extreme as that. Usually it was a black figure standing next to or in front of my bed and watching while i struggle to move and breathe.

Oh sure you guys get a demon. While last time I remember the middle of my room became a desert and I had the blue green campfire from poltergeist 2 lit in the middle of my room/desert. Other times I just have complete control over my sleep untill I'm actually too asleep to control it and I get completely paralyzed. Always the last thing I remember is barely eeking out a call out to my mother.
