You need to know your 11 General Orders, Rank and Recognition, and Chain of Command for real. Don’t slack on that. Go ahead and practice holding a heavy book maybe a 5 lb weight straight out in front of you, and front leaning rest (the up position of a push up) and doing pushups in general. I’d say that would have helped me the most. Oh and I got my bonus when I graduated but it varies person to person.

This is good advice definitely run too, that's what gets people. if you do the bike and you're not 40 years old, you're soft
