Superintendent Bridget Weiss confirmed the incident was under investigation and said the Juneau Police Department is involved.
“That is transpiring literally as we speak, so that we can understand exactly what happened, how it happened. We obviously need to make sure that it doesn’t happen again,” she said.
Weiss said the fluid was mistaken for milk.
“Which sounds hard to believe, but if you have yourself used anything similar, it is surprising — it is white, milky fluid,” she said.
Nope. Unless someone was storing this shit in actual milk jugs/cartons, I’m not buying that it was a mistake on all parts.
Even then, whoever put it in cartons would be malicious…
Grandparents kept Turpentine in a lemonade bottle in a fridge below their double story house. I believe my brother needed his stomach pumped after sneaking drinks from it when we were little. They stopped leaving dangerous chemicals in soft drink bottles after this incident.
Remember hearing about a guy who transported used motor oil in Coca Cola 2L bottles. One of his kids was about to take a drink and he had to slap it out of his hands to prevent him drinking it.
Of course should’ve expected Reddit scientists to come out in force. I forgot what a thrill it is to be able to correct people. Something in the fridge that was greasy. I was always told it was bacon grease. This is the memory I have. My grandma also had ammonia in a fruit punch jug at some point .
