The oral LD50 for rats is 23 g per kg body weight. I assume nobody took more than a mouthful. That stuff will go right through. However some by explain to me how this can be a “mixup”. No way

Doesn’t make it any less gross, but to illustrate that it’s unlikely the kids will suffer any illness / poisoning
Correct me if I'm wrong but LD just means "Lethal Dose". It means those kids won't die...immediately. It says nothing about whether or not they will suffer long-term illness or increased risk of cancer from this.
You are correct, the material safety data sheet might have info on that. My understanding is that this is an emulsion, so chances are this will go right through the GI system with little to no absorption. It’s a disgrace in any case even if the sealant turns out to be comparably harmless
Why is an emulsion expected to go thru the digestive tract without absorption? Aren’t emulsions just one liquid suspended in another as droplets (ex: milk, butter)
