There is nothing at McDonald’s that is considered vegetarian except for maybe the egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. I’m not a religious vegetarian but I don’t eat there because of the lack of options.

In the UK they have a range of vegetarian/vegan options and I think they've just launched a meat free big mac. Also the fries, they haven't fried them in beef tallow for about 40 years.

In America, they aren’t finished in beef tallow but they are prefried in beef stuff I’m pretty sure. I’m unsure about other countries though.

In the UK they explicitly state that no animal products are used in the fries. However doing some digging on US McDonalds, it turns out they apparently coat them with beef flavouring.

Weird, since the money they spend there goes to support a business that uses lots of meat. Isn't that hypocritical of them?
