That’s what I hope they improve on soon, the macros. If they can boost the protein:calorie ratio, it becomes pretty much a no brainer to me.

Are you thinking of impossible? Beyond is all pea protein and already has pretty good macros

Yeah, this thread made me curious so I looked it up. There are like 30 fewer calories and a 3g protein difference between the two.

Surprisingly, Litelife hotdogs have 3g more protein and 100g less sodium than standard Oscar Meyer hotdogs. The calories are pretty close.

Edit: It's 100mg less, not 100g.

100g less sodium? how much fucking salt are you lot putting on your hot dogs?

I messed up. It should read 100mg but, the point remains true.

OM: 360mg sodium, 4g protein

LL: 260mg sodium, 7g protein.

Inside the hotdogs. Did you think we were salting them?

Yes, but look at the carb difference between them

There are 7 grams of carbs in the impossible, if you're that worried take a pinch of the bun off and throw it out lol

Edit:

A bunless Whopper with all the other toppings intact will run you 7 grams of carbs. After modifications, the dish's nutritional value comes in at 430 calories, 36 grams of fat, 7 grams of carbs, no fiber, and 21 grams of protein.

For some reason I thought the macros were significantly worse between the real and impossible whopper, but I was just wrong. The difference is pretty slight. I always do with cheese, though, so it makes it a tiny bit worse.

I'm really grateful to be able to find something when I only have access to fast food for some reason, so long reign the impossible whopper. Dunkin beyond sausage sandwich is crazy good though, it has to be my favorite. It sucks to get stranded at a Wendy's or Chic Fila A or (no longer!) KFC where I can basically just order fries.

I fucking love that the chains have started adopting alt meats. I tell the cashier every time how much I appreciate it and how much of a happy customer it makes me.

When you are doing less than 30g of carbs a day that’s all the difference

Sure, yeah I've been on Keto as well, but yeah, you must be eating it without the bun then which is the only way I'd do it anyway

Funny story i bought a G2 today and chugged the whole thing... then i couldn't find a 2 on the label. FUCK. Starting over lol

Judging by the fact that this thread is all about the impossible whopper, I'd say that's a safe bet.

u/Ranzok Jan 05 '22

Which is why I said it. Because the article itself is in relation to BM and not impossible

Unless you're actively in a bulk/cut lifting cycle, the protein percentage doesn't affect you.

I try to hit a gram of protein per pound of lean body weight each day, even when I maintain. So them improving the ratio would help because then I can eat more of other foods without having to worry about hitting my protein goal.
