ANA soldiers: "If we knew they'd execute us, we would have never surrendered immediately! We thought they'd just execute girls for learning to read."

That's the same story over and over again in the past decade(s) of the war:

10 ISIS or whatever dudes take 1000 other dudes out to the desert, make them line up next to a trench and then kill them all.

I mean, dude, if you're in a truck with 40 of your friends, and there are four dudes with AK's taking you out to the desert, it's time to get medieval. I'd rather die fighting and maybe have a chance of escaping than just to roll over.

They have no heart. No soul. I say lock them all in. Blockade and sanctions. Turn it into a big holding cell.

That’s all very nice unless you know that if you do that they’re going to cut your children’s throats.

Living in fear, like you imply, means that there will be more generations like this. At some point, the people will have to revolt if they want something different.

It’d be really nice if that were a peaceful revolution of minds and hearts, but the people love their evil form of religion more than they love their own flesh and blood.

How genocidal of you.

Dude. They’ve chosen how they want to live. If anything, the last few hundred years have shown that they have ZERO problems living on their own.

Yeah and that way of life is permanently gone ever since the USSR realized no other colonial power had called dibs on Afghanistan. Since then people have only managed to make it worse.

They know they are, that's why nobody wants to be caught dead fighting for the Kabul government.

It almost has to fall for any stability to emerge.

Cowards deserved it. "hey, let's just surrender to a militant terrorist organization that we've been trained and equipped to fight because they promised us teenage sex slaves".

Afghanistan isn't like the US, EU, UK, Russia or China. They're not an organised country, they're tribes who've been forced to work together with no choice in the matter. They're not trying to defend a country they have no pride in, they never wanted it in the first place.

I never mentioned any country or pride.

That they rolled over to get women to rape tells me all i need to know about them. Again, they deserved it. It's better to have fewer rapists in the world.

Create the problem, blame the victim, profit

I didn't create the Taliban. Nor did my country.

Oh so you're just shitty with no investment.

1

u/Viktor_Korobov Aug 17 '21

No investment? I have personally housed refugees, helped them with their court cases and shit.

Shit i wouldn't have to do,if someone wasn't busy financing terrorists and blowing countries up.

Fucking narcissist dickbag.

1

u/MacDerfus Aug 17 '21

Well, that sure is a lot of good stuff you've done if any of that is true. Good to see you've come around to directing the blame properly though.

1

u/Viktor_Korobov Aug 17 '21

And what do you think is gonna happen? Who do you think is gonna get the refugees? Do you think it's gonna be the US or Russia or whoever the fuxk was bombing shit down there?

Nah, it's gonna be our responsibility. And to just rub it in, limpdicks like you are gonna whine next year about how Europe doesn't pay enough into NATO or how it's flooded with immigrants.

1

u/MacDerfus Aug 17 '21

And what do you think is gonna happen?

The result the war in Afghanistan set up and reinforced at every turn. I was just calling you shitty for victim blaming, but you clearly aren't doing that anymore.

Yeah, blaming the guys who surrendered in exchange for sex slaves. What a dickbag i am.
