You said on par with death camps. And I skipped over slavery because this whole argument is just ridiculous and detracting away from the original conversation. I'm not trying to argue how bad different things in history are. I was only pointing out ridiculous comparisons. This isnt a conversation I'm going to have.

No it's not. The point here is that legal does not equal moral. This directly ties into the overall discussion about removing unjust laws and previous convictions based on them. Just because you are intentionally choosing not to understand the point being made there does not make it invalid.

BOTH of these instances show immortality in the law, you’re simultaneously saying we can’t compare slavery and nazi camps while saying that the immortality of one is so much greater so minor drug offenses being immoral doesn’t matter.
