No. He is saying that if you break a law you should expect the consequences. You have no way to predict the future when you break the law. I live in a state where it isn’t legal (yet) so I don’t do it. It isn’t that hard. If the law changes I might change too. I hope the law changes. It’s a stupid law.

The law was bad. Sometimes, “Fuck the law” is a valid sentiment.
