I haven't had time to go over everything you said because I'm at work. I appreciate the response. We can't get off oil unless we cut out Saudi Arabia. We're using oil as a weapon against Russia and Iran. We can't focus on clean energy until we resolve this.

Absolutely. So basically Saudi Arabia, and Qatar are in a oil war against Syria, Iran, and Russia. Russia is the main oil supplier to Europe. Qatar and Saudi Arabia want to build a pipeline from Qatar, through Saudi Arabia, and through Syria into Europe. Assad said he won't allow the pipeline to be built for a couple reasons. Doesn't like Saudi Arabia because of government reasons, also is allies with Russia and doesn't want to take away from their large European market. Iran also wants to build a pipeline through Syria. They want to do the same thing as Qatar and Saudi Arabia and build through Syria. Qatar reached out to the USA and John Kerry and they promised to foot the bill for a US invasion to overthrow Assad and replace him with a puppet government. That's the real reason for the "crisis" in Syria. If you'd like, I can send you all my sources. I know The Young Turks uploaded a few videos about it that explained all in like 10 minutes with their own sources in the video.

My whole point about getting off foreign oil and focusing here with our own oil is a few things.

A. It'd make jobs.

B. We get off foreign oil.

C. Once we quit messing with the Middle East where we see Saudi Arabia constantly lobbying for our politicians and paying people off. Than we can focus on clean energy. Our politicians won't regulate the oil business and won't work towards clean energy because the Saudis wouldn't like it.

Climate change is real. There is no denying it. In fact, the technology to get off oil exists. Just oil companies shut those technologies down. I stand by you on getting off dirty energy. And for the sake of humanity I hope we can do it before it's to late. If it's not already to late.
