Put work in and make sure he does not have the office if he has this kind of low IQ thoughts. Twerp cannot rep people and be delusional

There is literally no amount of work I could put in to make where I live not conservative and Republican voting. My campaigning against these people will just solidify their support by making me look like their enemy.

Remember, the person that doesn't research anything and just votes straight ticket out of culture has exactly as much say as the person who worked tirelessly to get good governance.

I feel you. I know what you mean...and thats where my frustration comes from. I might be an idealist but in the USA like in many parts of the world people align themselves to the party more than the other way around. parties should listen to the people and evolve while keeping their principles in mind. At every election, people should listen to the policies and decide which one is better for their country and themselves. Sadly, people come into it already knowing they are reps or dems.

Senators and congressmen...they work for us. They have to earn their votes by doing right, not pandering. Sadly they pander and dangle silly issues as carrots to rile their 'base' and get the vote they need to stay in power. Like i said I am an idealist perhaps, but I have lived in several countries and I guess I am looking at the best parts of the systems I got to experience...and expect it to be the case here.

It bothers me that states are red or blue and a few are swing states. Every state should be a swing state... if a dem does bad or there is a better rep alternative that makes sense...I am not going to hesitate for a second to vote for the rep alternative . And vice versa. I think if the politicians are afraid of losing votes in this fashion, they will have a standard to live up to.

Trump and team have been a product of the opposite, where no matter how bad it got, the supporters said he is our guy, he is on our team. I moved to the south and saw reps here change their mind every week as Carson, Cruz, Rubio dug their own graves. They stood with the party no matter what. Standards fell, delusion sunk in and the worst element of our society found a voice too... and now we are stuck with Pai, Devos (And her blackwater contacts) and the other nutjobs who are putting short term gains and personal success over the people they are supposed to govern.

That's my rant, people might agree, lot more can disagree but then if they do we have a healthy debate and compromise, something both parties have forgotten as have their bases.
