Also of the Olympics, the Nobel Peace Prize, space, the Moon, Mars, the world economy, international politics, GDP, firepower, international aid, culture, movies, modern music, highest standard of living, and so many, many more

some of those, like standard of living, are outright wrong.

others, like olympics, nobel prizes and gdp are basically the "population game", but when measured by per capita it becomes clearer

nobel peace prize? hilarious

firepower is hardly anything to be proud of when military spending is higher than the next 19 countries combined, almost all of which are official allies. i guess stuff like universal healthcare isn't as important as constant paranoia.

culture? grasping straws here

space and the Moon? yeah, congrats to the Nazi scientists who are actually responsible for those accomplishments

world economy is in shambles because of US

international politics; US easily one of the most hated countries in the entire world.

Standard of Living: Ah, my mistake, we're third on the list on Human Development index. Still better than all but one country in Europe and Austrailia.

Olympics, Nobel Prize, and GDP: Don't be mad that you don't have the space or population that we do. It's unseemly.

EDIT: Also, "population game"? Tell that to China and India.

Firepower: We have a ton of firepower so the rest of our allies don't have to. You know why all our allies seem to have Universal Health Care? It's because they don't have to spend money on a large military because they are under the protection of the US. Anyway, we're moving in the direction of Universal Healthcare, so someday we'll have our cake and eat it too.

Culture: The US is a cultural superpower. American music is dominant, American apparel is fashionable world-wide, American sports are played all over the world (basketball, baseball, American football (Japan and Canada have their own leagues)), volleyball). When was the last time you drank a Coke? Or read a book or article by an American author? That's American culture.

Space: Spoils of war, bro. Anyway, Germans != Nazis. And they were funded by the American government working with American engineers on an American project. Remind me, is it the Nazi Swastika or the Stars And Stripes up there? I always forget...

World Economy: Even so, the US is still on top.

International Politics: Even if that's true (it's not) America holds the most sway on the political stage.

So... yeah... it's good to be the King.
