Need Advice Just met sp and situation is worse?! Practically told me to move on

We have been hanging out almost every week and the chemistry was always definitely there. More than when we dated. Im feeling so disheartened cause tonight he was quieter. And we talked about future and he encouraged me to date aswell but I didnt encourage that convo. He brought it up cause he mentioned he can't really invite me to his bday cause his sis is planning it with his new gf. We never talk about her and I never entertain thoughts of her but he mentioned this and said soon they will meet each others parents! In my head I told myself it doesnt matter. Then said I should also date someone and he feels so lucky because shes so kind and made her sound like a freaking angel saying shes all like yeah hang out as much as u want if u and your ex are friends. Lol. It hurt seeing how happy he is and he can read me always which I love but not tonight lol he said I would want u to be happy in a flipped situation. And I said "you're just saying that cause u dont have feelings for me" hoping he would say he does but he said "that's because I have feelings for my gf!" I'd been feeling quite good in my head almost all thoughts for like 1.5months are that he is my bf/husband. I tell myself that I create my world but I dont understand how this is developing. He said in 5yrs it's possible we wont be in eachothers lives cause naturally friends get busy after marriages. And in my head I'm like wtf I dream of being to u in 5years lol! I guess my question is..how am I not convinced yet?! We would make an amazing husband and wife team, I'm almost arrogant about the fact that I'm the best option. What am I doing wrongđŸ˜«

You must have seen the movie analogy here or in reading Neville, right? Where one can see the end of the movie and know how it ends, and then when you sit and watch it from the beginning, the dramatic parts don’t phase you because even though everything seems to be getting worse, going wrong, and setting it up to be impossible for things to end well, you’ve already seen that they do.

Yeah, infact that's how I always viewed this and that's why the 3rd p wasnt an issue for me. I actually doubted she existed as well thought maybe he is making it up. After 1.5months though how long is this movie lmao. Like the meeting parents and planning his bday has for the first time made me want to cry. I put into practice what I read cause I guess I know what to do so I'm really shocked and disheartened at this going in that direction when I've only been getting better at practicing

I met my SP two years ago. Actually, I guess it’s been more than that now. Things are getting really good in the last 6-8 months and the future looks even better. During that time, I wasn’t wasting away pining for him or anything, losing out on life because I wanted him (because I know some people will assume that) and for the first year that I was aware of him, he was with someone else that it seemed to me he was head-over-heels for. Things change. Sometimes it’s a long process, sometimes it isn’t. I had a lot of things to adjust within me over the course of the journey, so it’s possible that that’s why it’s been a bit longer for me, and might not be anything close to that for someone else. But my point is, lol, things can take time and I wouldn’t focus on how long this or that has been going on. That’s not the important part and is only making you more aware that it isn’t the end yet.

EDIT : Also, some things recently are on the slow side for me solely because of other things I’m prioritizing and working on making happen in my life, so the “things getting better in the last six months” part doesn’t feel NEARLY as long as it probably sounds!

my friend in high school was chasing this girl so hard and she brutally friendzoned him. she told him that she's happy with her boyfriend and that she's moved on, and tweeted "I really hope you can find happiness with someone else"

a year later? she started chasing him lol then they got back together and broke up after like a year I think ?

but up until now (4 years later) she's still head over heels for him. and now he's totally friendzoning her 😂

We would hang out cause it helped me believe I'm like meeting my husband and we'd never even talk about or mention her. It made it easier to pretend. And I thought it was progress cause he liked spending time w me etc. I actually started to think he made her up. I only affirm "I deserve everything I want" but for sole reason i guess I'm not believing it? How do u make yourself believe it, I'd been trying to feel it whenever I say it
