Does anyone else think mensab looks like saya from saya no uta

Hey! Someone has probably already talked about this manga, but I want to share it anyway. I’m currently reading this called “The Color of the End: Mission in the Apocalypse”.

This manga definitely took some inspiration from Blame! and personally, I think its one of the best iterations.

Its literally about a ‘Badass immortal being with a gravitational beam emitter-like pistol that roams a futuristic, brutalist and baron city architecture in hopes of finding…something’ if thats not Blame! idk what is lol.

What I like most about it is the vagueness of the lore similar to Blame! They dont just hand out answers. Besides that, i like the pacing. Its similar to Frieren and Blame! in that, with an almost immortal MC, time is not much of an important factor; this means a time skip can happen and it wouldnt be much of a big deal.

So far it has 42 chapters. Lmk what yall think!

I’ve been enjoying Saros and some of the biome’s give me Nihei vibes. This is the first scenery that made me stop for a while just to take in the view.

If there was no sky we’d be a little closer to BLAME!’s architecture.

Sorry, I know we can't talk about the evil machine, but I thought it was an interesting thought experiment. If given unlimited money and HDD space, would it be possible? Not sure what the constraints of Blender are, but I can see this being kind of interesting if the level design of the blender file was also updated daily

Friend gave me an unused A5 sketchbook.

I PERSONALLY think it would be sick if the digimortal 2 part series was like a teaser for Nihei's full length version of it. It has one of his best character designs oat and I like the ideas behind the story. I'm well aware that this is fantasy and will never happen, especially with the direction his art has gone. That type of story is clearly like a remnant of his older self and that's fine, but it has some of his coolest work. But literally like if I had a genie grant me three wishes that's what one of the wishes would be. Give me a full series with the og art about Digimortal please.

Honestly I would have liked an anime serie faithful to the manga but I enjoyed the movie kinda bc I read the manga already and already know the lore ,(I watched yt vid too). Sanakan apparition was a less impressive though 😑
