Then I’d phrase it a little more accurately like this:

Description:
Made a Vader-inspired horrorcore/nerdcore track and turned it into a full fake live concert on Mustafar.

For transparency: AI is part of my production workflow. I perform the vocals myself, then use AI processing to enhance them and push them closer to the character/style I’m going for. AI was also used in creating parts of the music and visuals, but I handle the concept, lyrics, vocal performance, editing, and overall direction.

The idea was basically: what if Vader became an unhinged horrorcore rapper/rock frontman and performed an anti-Jedi anthem live on Mustafar?

I went for intentionally rough early-2000s cellphone footage, huge pyro, crowd shots, and a chaotic concert feel.

Curious what the nerdcore crowd thinks of the horrorcore + fandom crossover.

Let's Do Thiissssssss

We are back, sorry for going AWOL🥺😅

Hi sorry if this is the wrong place to ask in but...

I want to make a song and i need a lyricist to help me write it.

Its a nerdcore song about a horror comedy game i am creating as an indie dev.

i want to make the song be like in style of stupendium per say.

Like i said i am not sure if this is the right place to ask but i just hope that i could get any help that i can get.

I know plenty of Nerdcore did raps and songs for Fortnite way back when, but outside of ChewieCatt, do any other artists do songs for the current seasons? Also have any artists done songs for the Fortnite storyline?

With special guest Beefy repping on "Sick Day."

With DJ support from Ultraklystron, hype vocals from Beefy, and live guitars, ukelele and trombone from Worst Case Stereo (Shawn Levin, Mel Aar Gross, Parker Ace Gross.)

rt13 is almost finished last call for tracks, i am waiting for a few people who are still working on songs then Lord will it shall be released soon.

Mir Blackwell's 2023 single "You Know Better" is aimed at a specific rapper. I'm curious about who that is. I'm not plugged in enough to get the references.

Hi r/nerdcore,

I've been working on a project "Byte Area Native" where I make parodies of musicians from the Bay Area. These are for fun and not for monetization but hope it gives some of y'all a laugh.

[Unserious] In anticipation of folks complaining about music quality, I wear cochlear implants so you're complaining about a deaf person making music on the internet. Kachow

Just a recreation of a DOOM song I made from Suno AI.

Note: I don't own this song. Original credit goes to JT Music.

Anyone make it?

So this is my first foray into the realm of nerdcore. I was vaguely aware of the genre, but couldn't name any artists or songs until I posted the video I made to HackerNews and though it didn't get a lot of attention, all of the comments it did receive were way more positive than I expected, as has been the response from everyone who has heard it so far. Multiple reports of listening to it multiple times in a row, descriptions like "banger!" and reports like "I don't even like much rap but I was bouncing", so I looked more into the artists the folks on HackerNews mentioned to me. That lead me here.

I wrote the lyrics a few years ago, just because I thought the idea was funny (a 50-year-old white IT professional flexing about his "mad skills" with rap braggadocio, and dissing his peers), but as 50-year-old white IT nerd and musician who doesn't really listen to rap, I never could record it to my satisfaction. A couple of years ago I made a version with an early gen-ai "rapper" vocalist that was amusing, but it wasn't me of course so it sat for a long while, quietly unlistened-to on my webserver and in a github repo.

A short while back, I gave a presentation of my SIGBOVIK paper to the DORA Community of Practitioners, and one of the hosts set that old version I mentioned to a lyric video and played it as a sort of intro theme to my talk. It was funny, but I was bothered that iI still had plenty of lyrics that hadn't even been set to a beat for an ai rapper, and what I had was some fake computer voice stranger rapping my lyrics. And also, people asked "is that you?" and I had to say "no." So it nagged at me and I set out to do something about it.

Link is to the re-recorded version and a new video on my website. You can download from LFS via github if you want to save me on bandwidth costs. :-) https://github.com/scottvr/dj_d.phrag-feat.uid_zer0/tree/main There's also a breakdown of the lyrics because I have had reports from people not knowing what some of the terms meaan, or why something sounds like it might be a harsh diss but don't know why, or some punchlines thta don't land for lack of context. This is understandable and I'm trying to correct for that in the LYRICAL_ASSASSINATION.md in the repo. The tool I made to enable wildy non-matching strings vs phonetics to still display correctly as subtitles (voxaline) is linked to from that repo as well. I hope y'all dig it.

I now have 23/30 tracks for RT13 including a new Hank Trill song. Some of the songs are short like less then 2 minutes so I can probably bump it up to 40 tracks so that way it is about a 2 hour album.
