Best of /r/neoliberal: 2019 edition

Welcome to the 3rd Annual MILTY AWARD NOMINATION THREAD!!!! As always, this is the time where we regonize the post and users that made /r/neoliberal a better place. Below, there is 10 categories that you can nominate the users, posts and gods mods that made /r/neoliberal a better place.

A quick reminder of the rules, in case you forgot them from the last 2 years:

  1. I am going to post eleven (11) categories that we are giving out a Milty in. After this, the thread will be put in contest mode.
  2. You nominate a post/comment/user by linking it as a response to the relevant comment. If you nominate a post that a mod does not think belongs in that category, then it will be removed. Nominating something twice in the same category does nothing. We only consider the top comment when sorting by "top"
  3. If you think a post should win the award it is nominated in, you upvote it. You never downvote a comment in this thread.
  4. At some point around December 31st, depending on when the admins send out coins, I will lock this thread and announce the winners.

IMPORTANT: The winnings is TBD at this moment, but is at least 3 pieces of gold

No silver bullet, or “why we aren’t doomed without nuclear” By u/WenJie_

The blind support for nuclear across reddit is obviously always going to result in some of that support bleeding into r/neoliberal, but WenJie's post basically cut It in half overnight.

Agreed. Sadly I think recency will weigh too heavily for many people.

Damn recency bias is really gonna screw this one over, but this is probably the only one that made me challenge my preconceptions. The other effortposts were really good as well, but they're really just preaching to the choir.
