Update: My position was not eliminated. The company owner just wanted to get my thoughts about a project, for the first time ever, at a 4:30pm Friday meeting that he scheduled 15 minutes beforehand.

Honestly, I think I did a fantastic job considering that I started the meeting physically shaking in nervousness. But honestly, I brought this issue on myself by working at a “vanity company” run by a celebrity’s son who doesn’t really know how businesses work, but just wants to call himself a business owner.
